Run Little PumpkinMan...Run !!!

This was a quick Photoshop illustration for an invite for a 'Pumpkin Carving Party' which my room-mates and I had last weekend. I really need to get back into Photoshop. Actually what I should do is buy a fancy tablet PC so that I could make sick digital illustrations wherever I go.
Jason Schliefer has a lot of great info. about those here.

The Disconcerted Gentleman

Here's another page from my sketchbook (one of those fantastic pocketsize 'moleskine' sketchbooks-durable and classy, what more could you ask for).

Japanese Cafe

This was drawn at a mall-cafe in Tokyo, from my sketchbook. The ball players below were from an event promoting a television station there. Although they were company employees, not professional players. The pitcher wasn't doing too well and I remember there were 2 drunk
Japanese men nearby who were heckling.

A Sad Day for Coffee

A sketch from a London trainstation, coffee kiosk. I used a white ink pen for the white layer on top. The sketchbook is pretty cool. I bought it there also, from a "Muji" store (Japanese stationary). The cool thing is that all their products have absolutely no print or logos on them. Everything comes plain jane.

Owl Thumbnails

A neeew Monday, a neeew posting.
Here're some owl thumbnails I did
w/ an extra-fine-point-ink-pen on
construction paper and a bit of
prismacolor grey.
Some of my artsy-fartsy friends and I like owl designs.

Good Day and Welcome!

Ah my first post!
Well it had to happen sooner or later.
A combination of peer pressure
and my recent addiction to all the inspiring blogs out there so far.
Good Day and Welcome to ' The Monday Morgue'.
